Fashion Intern 2008: Kaitlin Milliot, Siena College 2010
Hi! I'm Kaitlin, the new fashion intern here at the Post. I'll be here blogging throughout the summer with my thoughts, finds, and whatever interesting stuff I come across. At Siena College, where I am junior marketing major, I write the fashion column with my friend Samantha for the student newspaper. The column is our outlet to write whatever we want about the latest trends, fashion news, and personal style beliefs (which sometimes gets us in trouble!). But I believe in expressing myself as much as possible, especially through clothing. As I stated in an argumentative speech this fall at school, I firmly believe that the way we dress is the single most important and individual form of expression we share with the world on a daily basis. What you wear says more than you think about who you are. So shun the smirks, and wear what you want.
Things I adore: oversize bags, BCBG, summer dresses, dancing, skinny jeans, alternative music, enormous sunglasses, concerts, summer dresses, and chocolate. I'm also always wondering why people wear the things they do. It's quite the interesting psychological question.
So keep a look out for my blogs, where I'll be trying to find the answer to this question and many more!
